Storytelling is universal. Throughout the history of the world, different cultures tell stories that are passed on to the next generation, the generation after that, and so on. Whether the reason for telling a story is to teach a moral or to find one’s own voice in society, stories are said, written, sung, and created through art. Leslie Tang’s body of works deal with exploring narrative inquiry and why stories are told the way that they are told. Leslie’s works of art encompasses a variety of different mediums that incorporate different themes in the realm of storytelling.
